Coppola describes Megalopolis as an "unusual epic," and that rings true from the official logline, which reads:

The trailer for Megalopolis that was released on August 21 was pulled from the internet because it was revealed that it used fake or misattributed quotes for Francis Ford Coppola movies, which Lionsgate apologized for.
